As ACS Catalysis ’ first editor-in-chief, Jones has experience leading a new journal to the top of its field. Homogeneous catalysis, It is with great pleasure that we welcome Professor Cathleen Crudden as the next Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of ACS Catalysis. Cathy will be the second Editor-in-Chief after the initial 10 year appointment of one of us, Chris Jones, as the inaugural Editor-in-Chief (EIC). Collectively, they bring 23 years of Associate Editor experience with the journal and will work with Professor Cathleen Crudden, Editor-in-Chief, to guide ACS Catalysis ’s strategy, as well as support day-to-day activities like the assignment of new submissions. I recently sat down with each editor to discuss the new role.
